Wild About Cats of Cumberland County
Adopt
Adoption Process - All applicants must complete an application. The application will be reviewed, a background check will be done on a public information website and social media, and personal references will be checked. WACCC reserves the right to deny an adoption to an applicant. If the application is approved, the applicant will be required to sign an adoption agreement that includes, among other items, a promise to never declaw a cat. Payments are accepted through PayPal or by personal check. All cats are fostered in Tennessee but we use a professional transport service to transport cats to most states. The adoption fee covers testing for FIV/FeLV, flea treatments, neutering, rabies vaccinations and FVRCP inoculations. In addition, out-of-state adoption fees cover the transportation fee, and final vet checkup to get the required USDA interstate health certificate.
